Attorney

Requirements:

• DC, MD, & VA Bar licensure in good standing.


• Juris Doctor Degree from an ABA-accredited law school.


• Experience in personal injury law preferred.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Judgment and decision-making abilities.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Strong organizational and time-management skills.


• Attention to detail and accuracy.


• Excellent and prompt verbal/written communication skills and ability to work well with others.


• Strong work ethic demonstrated in academics and work history.


• Experience managing a support staff.

The estimated hourly salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000, although a candidate's salary will be determined on a range of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities:

• Interfacing with current clients, providing frequent case status updates.


• Managing high volume docket of cases.


• Managing assigned case manager and medical clerk.


• Filing and responding to motions.


• Taking and defending depositions.


• Drafting demands.


• Attending mediations and hearing.


• Federal and State petition drafting.


• Responding to and requesting federal and state discovery.


• Reviewing medical records.


• Conducting legal research.


• Evaluating exhibitions.


• Team player willing to assist where necessary.
